Immersion and Intensive Language Courses
Dive right in and immerse yourself! The Foreign Language Company offers language immersion programs in Spanish, French, Portuguese, Mandarin Chinese, Japanese, German, Italian and English as a Second Language. These programs are offered through our sister company, Indy Foreign Language Academy.
These programs are ideal for individuals requiring maximum language proficiency in a period of one to six weeks. The student is in class for 7.5 hours each day, which includes a provided lunch. A minimum of two different instructors will provide instruction.
Our approach is conversational in nature, with grammar reinforced through continuous conversation and application. Various multimedia sources are also employed to reinforce the student’s retention of vocabulary and grammar. The goal is to surround the student in the target language to the greatest degree possible. Therefore, the majority of conversation occurs in the target language.
